Why does the writer of the article believe Rio 2 is problematic in terms of its representations?
In the article the writes thinks that Rio 2 is problematic because the main characters for a start are voiced by white Americans however the film is based in Brazil therefore they should have some sort of accent. The more urban like characters are voiced by black American voice actors such as Will.I.Am and Jamie Foxx and of course the villain is played by a British .
What are PEPs and why are they an issue for racial representation?
PEP : Problem Contexts, Entertainment Contexts and Performance Contexts. "Within PEPs, black people and other genotypes have to be associated with vexing circumstances.

This is an issue because it doesn't represent what the cultures of the people are like and can show the younger generations that other races or cultures are evil even if they are not.

Why does Da Costa believe we end up with stereotypes in animation?
Because decisions have to be made quickly during the making of an animation film the film makers don't think about the moral issues. They hope everything will be okay if they just play the safe option.
What does Turbo say about social mobility?
In the film Turbo the sidekicks are played by voice actors like amuel L Jackson, Snoop Dogg and Michelle Rodriguez which tells us that Turbo is trying to say that white people are the only people who have social mobility.
